Cut Pile Carpets for Kent, London, and the South East
Here at Lifestyle Designer Floor Coverings we also sell a wide variety of cut pile and striped carpets, which provide a great cushion for the feet.
These are made by strategically cutting the loops created during the weaving of a carpet and give the appearance of softness while keeping a good level of thickness. Although usually made with a blend of man-made fibres, cut pile carpets can be constructed by using natural fibres and we supply both versions.
There are three types of cut pile carpets Plush carpets, Saxony carpets and Frieze carpets. Each have different properties and suitabilities for the Kent home or office.
Plush carpets have a high degree of density in the yarn fibres and are soft to the touch. These are more suitable for rooms with less traffic, such as bedrooms and more formal rooms.
Saxony carpets are the longest pile carpet we provide and can be used in places like a bedroom
or areas with light foot traffic. Versions such as this tend to resist matting and crushing while maintaining the pleasant feel
Finally, the Frieze carpets have the tightest yarn fibres which allow a large amount of resistance and durability. These would be most suitable in areas of high foot traffic, such as an office, reception or stairway in the home.
