Solid Wood Flooring
We here at Lifestyle Designer Flooring supply and install the highest quality solid wood flooring as well as engineered wood and structurally engineered. Its attractive and authentic appearance ensures that your house looks fantastic and is known to improve the value of your home.
Essentially, as the name suggests, solid wood is planks of real wood laid next to one another and this means that when it is installed it will last for a lifetime and can withstand heavy weights. These are generally 19mm thick with a board width of between 90 and 150mm. Like our structurally engineered and engineered boards, our solid wood versions come with a bevelled edge and options of lacquered, oiled or brushed and oiled finishes.
One main advantage of having solid wood flooring is the wide variety of colours and textures to choose from and here at Lifestyle Designer Flooring, we are confident we have a solution that appeals to you, providing installations across Kent including Bromley, Gravesend, Maidstone, Ashford, Medway, Tunbridge Wells and Orpington.
Our wide range of solid oak flooring is certain to meet your requirements and provide a stunning yet durable solution for any of your floor requirements. Call the specialist floor fitters today on 01634 294414 and we will go through all of your wood flooring requirements with you. A member of our team will be on hand to ensure you receive the best sold wood flooring you need to create the stunning flooring in your property and will arrange a no obligation quotation and survey at your convenience.
One of the reasons that solid wood flooring still sells well to this day is the fact that it looks so fantastic and you cannot get that authenticity anywhere else. Nothing quite matches the feel and look of real wood and you will struggle not to be impressed with the high standard of finish.
Our solid wood flooring has style and character in abundance and while other products may look more modern, there is nothing that quite gives you a warmth and character like solid wood. The fact that it has been cut straight from a tree also means that it is very adaptable for sizing, so no matter how big or small your requirements, our solid wood flooring will provide the answer.
Highly experienced team
The one thing about solid wood that you do have to beware is that it cannot be installed in any location that has underfloor heating (engineered wooden flooring is ideal for this) or anywhere that can experience dampness, such as cellars, basements or conservatories. However, its attractiveness and other qualities ensure that this is just a minor issue and our highly experienced floor fitters can advise you on the best solutions to this problem.
